Scholar award recipient, Nora Jean Nealon, was able to complete her dual DVM and Ph.D. degrees at Colorado State University, Fort Collins, due to the assistance of these funds. She finished her Ph.D. first in 2019, working with probiotic bacteria to promote gut health in animals and working on antibacterial resistance o of Salmonella in dairy farms. “Be a Life Boat” presented by Paisley Huntoon, IF, Organizer, with assistance from her chapter, IF, sisters, expressed the need for us to “Be a Lamp, a Lifeboat, or a Ladder” to our sisters for life. Services honoring our sisters who have joined chapter eternal the past two years, 2020 and 2021. Vice-President Kendy Cusick-Rindone, CP, was assisted by Judy Proctor, CP, first reading, and the duet, In the bulb there is a flower, sung by Carolyn Kendrick, DT, and Debbie Sorenson, DT, Donna Jackson, CP, delivered the message, Karen Hardy, and Kathy Anderson, both HM, read Psalm 23, and Roberta Dillow, CP, read the scripture from Corinthians 12.
